Huawei’s Honor 6X Launched In India

Smartphone in India are coming with improved cameras and Huawei has introduced its new camera focused phone Honor 6X.


The Honor 6X features a dual lens rear camera that offers a wide aperture range. It boasts a metal body which is 8.2mm thin. It comes with a 5.5 inch IPS LCD Full HD display of 1920 x 1080 resolution, 403 ppi, 71.8% Screen to Body Ratio and the 2.5D Curved Glass.

Honor 6X comes in 2 variants of 3GB RAM with 32GB Storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB Storage. It is powered by Huawei Kirin 655 Octa-Core (4×2.1 GHz + 4×1.7 GHz) Processor, Mali-T830 GPU and it runs on Android v6.0.1 (Marshmallow) but it will be up-gradable to Nougat.


In the Camera department it features a Dual Lens Camera Setup which includes a main 12MP camera sensor with PDAF and the 2MP second camera sensor of wide aperture f/0.95 – f/16 for the Artificial Bokeh Effect, a LED Flash Light and a 8 MP Camera at the Front.

For all the computing and operations the Honor 6X is backed up by a 3340 mAh Lithium-ion Battery. According to the company it delivers 2.15 days of usage and 1.5 days of heavy usage on a full charge and it supports fast charging with the supplied charger of 5V/2A.

Additionally, The Honor 6X comes with a 1 year + 3 months warranty and a touch screen replacement in the first month.


It will be exclusively available on Amazon India in Silver, Gray and Gold Colors and you can get additional 10% cashback with SBI Debit Card, Airtel 14 GB Data on purchase of 1 GB with Honor 6X and a Kindle E-Book Promotional Gift of INR Rs.300.


The 3 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM is priced at INR 12,999 and the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM is priced at INR 15,999. The registrations for the 3 GB version starts today till 31st Jan and the first flash sale will begin on 2nd Feb at 2 pm and the 4 GB version will be available from Feb.
